Social Media for Lao Biz is a complimentary one-day live event aimed at introducing key social media strategies to small and medium sized business enterprises. This new initiative is designed to provide digital marketing skills and training for local businesses and career seekers across Laos.

This one day event will host eight exciting courses covering key business management strategies for Facebook, Instagram and more.

According to our recent survey, 56.8% of businesses use social media for tactical use, 20.5% for increasing social media engagement, 18.2% for personal use, and only 4.5% for advertising and running campaigns. As Facebook continues to the main leading social media platforms in Laos, more businesses are looking for ways to successfully implement their business strategies online to sell products/services and engage with their audiences.

In this innovative digital training, we will explore setting up a business account shop, how to run creative online advertisements, using online targeting tools, and more. Certificates of Completions will be awarded for participants who successfully complete all eight courses. In order to make this event as inclusive as possible, the courses will be delivered in Lao and translated into English.

In addition to the eight courses, Social Media for Lao Biz will have a “tech-savvy hall” for Lao’s top key technology companies to help offline businesses get the right information and tools to successfully go online. From companies looking to set up a Facebook business page or needing a company to help build a website, there will be representatives to assist in these digital areas.

This one day event will be packed with exciting and engaging live trainings, social media contests, giveaways, photoshoots, business interviews, and networking opportunities to make the most out of your Halloween weekend.

The event will be held in Vientiane, Laos at Crowne Plaza Vientiane. For interested participants living outside of the city, all the courses will be live streamed and recorded across our social media channels and can be accessed for later use.
